CTE Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) 
The State Board of Education adopted new Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Career and Technical Education (CTE) in 2015. The new CTE TEKS became effective beginning with the 2017-2018 school year.
