Special Agent Ariana Gonzalez from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was a guest speaker for Ms. Lizcano’s Principle’s of Law class at Sgt. Manuel Chacon Middle School where students gained some useful insight on this particular U.S. government agency.
Thank you to Mercedes ISD alumna Alyssa Cano, PA-S for visiting with our Travis Elementary students! The first grade students attended her special presentation following the completion of Unit 2 in their Amplify curriculum, which focuses on understanding basic human anatomy. Ms. Cano's engaging and informative talk deepened the students' knowledge and curiosity, making this an enriching and memorable learning experience!
